Home stylist and artist-designer Gili Ungar, born 1974, is considered a leading and innovative figure in the home styling field. To these days, Ungar is styling and designing dozens of houses in Israel and abroad, and his works are often being featured in leading design magazines.
Graduated in 2001 from the photography department in Bezalel academy of art & design, Jerusalem.
Completed an internship in the School of Visual Arts, New York and assisted the well-known director and fashion photographer David LaChapelle.
Former head-designer in the Yalon company, the official Israeli representative of the international crystal elements brand Swarovski.
Guest lecturer in the Holon academic institute of technology and Holon design museum.
Director and teacher in the “Home Styling – The Real Thing” workshop, which he developed and initiated. The workshop is exposing its students to the practical skills in the home styling world.
In 2016 Gili Ungar has launched a collection of his own prints, collaborating with the product designer Koby Sibony. The collection is the harbinger of his home-dressing product series, maintaining both art and design lines and forming a creative environment in order to promote Israeli product designers, under ungar’s direction.
